We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
We accept payment by Stripe via our secure online server. Unfotunately we are cannot accept payment by cheque/postal order. Payment must be made for all orders at the time they are placed and we are unable to hold or reserve stock if payment has not been received.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 weeks of receipt of payment. The majority of orders are dispatched same/next day but this cannot be guaranteed. We use Royal Mail or Courier, at our discretion to mainland UK, Highland & Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly & The Channel Islands. Please note that during Sale periods, orders may take longer to dispatch due to the high volume that we receive at these times.
Please note that choosing and paying for courier service does not guarantee next day delivery, your order will be packed in line with current order processing timescales. If you choose this method, your order will be sent via a trackable courier/postal service.
When requested, orders will be combined only at our discretion. Any postage to be refunded will be applied as a reward points credit to the customers account – no cash refunds will be given for combined posting of orders.
Please note that we will not accept instructions to leave parcels in bins of any kind. Requests for parcels to be left outdoors or in unsecure locations are entirely at the the customer’s risk, your written request on your order will be proof of this. No claim for damage due to loss, theft or poor weather conditions will be accepted in these cases. By requesting that parcels be left in outdoor or unsecure locations, the customer is accepting these terms and waiving their right to claim for lost or damaged parcels.
We adhere to Royal Mail’s lost parcel guidelines. Lost parcels will not be resent until 15 working days have lapsed since the parcel was sent. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct address is provided in full. We cannot accept claims for missing parcels where an incorrect or incomplete address has been provided.
Returns and refunds
If you are not satisfied with your online purchase, returns are accepted within 7 working days. Goods must be returned in their original packaging in a resaleable condition. P&P costs are non-refundable in this instance. Please note that we will not accept liability for loss of goods being returned so we recommend that the necessary insurance (Certificate of Posting or Recorded Delivery) be taken by you.
A full refund/exchange will be given on faulty goods or where an incorrect item(s) has been sent to you. Claims will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated. If you order contact lenses online and you are not on one of our direct debit contact lens schemes, we will not process the order and we will refund the payment in full.
Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited.
Any claims for non-delivery must be made within 30 days of purchase. Any claims for shortages must be made within 2 days of delivery. NO CLAIMS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER THIS TIME.

Sales and offers
Please note that during busy periods it is possible for there to be stock level discrepancies. If out of stock items are ordered during sale or offer periods, a full refund will be processed for these items. Our dispatch times may be slightly longer than usual during these busier periods. Offer prices may be withdrawn by us at any time.
Reservation of title
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier but the title in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us.
Exclusion of liability
No liability will be accepted for any injury loss or damage suffered as a result of the use of any products supplied by Batty and Dexter.
We are a VAT registered company. All prices are inclusive of 20% sales tax.
