There are a number of optical lenses available today including:

Single vision lenses

A one-power lens designed to give accurate focus, for distance, computer and or reading.

Bifocal lenses

A two-power lens designed to give accurate focus for distance and computer or reading.

Varifocal lenses

A multi-power lens gradually changing in focus from distance at the top, to close reading at the bottom. This is the preferred option for many as there are no visible lines or power jump as associated with bifocal lenses.

Photochromic lenses
